Frequently Asked Questions
Senior Care

How do your rates compare to others in the area?
We are in the median price range. While we want to make senior care affordable, we also want to ensure that we can support a highly passionate, professional, and qualified staff to come into your home and care for your loved ones.
Why does there have to be a minimum number of hours for home care?
GAP Healthcare greatly values our employees and their time. It is difficult to send a professional to multiple locations for very small amounts of time, especially when these locations may be far from each other.
How do you screen your employees?
Our employees go through an intensive interview process with multiple leaders from our company. We verify their work history and any relevant certifications. Also, they undergo a drug test and an extensive background check spanning state and federal databases.
How do you find the caregiver that is best fit for our family?
One of our core values as an organization is to build strong, genuine relationships with those we work with. Therefore we spend a great amount of time with clients and their families to understand their needs, lifestyles, and family dynamics.
What would happen if we did not feel as if the person placed in our home was a good fit?
We take time to call our clients on a monthly basis to inquire about the relationship between the client, the family, and the caregiver. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or not completely satisfied, we will immediately change providers and ensure a smooth, agreeable transition under the direct supervision of a GAP Healthcare leader.
